Lakewood Chapel is a community of believers that exists to equip you to love God, love your neighbor and disciple others out there where you live, work and play. We exisit to glorify God and advance His Kingdom!

We want to help you reach your world for the Kingdom of God and realize your full potential while on the Earth today - living on Earth as it is in Heaven! We have been called an "aol.com" church which means "army of love" and "community of mercy"

Lakewood Chapel is . . .

Christ Centered -Our worship and our witness are focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. Our worship services are lively and exciting because Jesus is present and He is the One we worship. We come to minister to the Lord with our music, worship, offerings and love to each other. Our services are varied because we recognize that we are different, yet, in Christ, we can embrace the same vision. We understand the demands of job, family and schedules and both churches provide a time for you to get apart and find the Sabbath rest designed by God and power to live a life that gives God the glory. There is often a sense of the River of God flowing and as His presense increases - fresh new dynamics of church are birthed.

Biblically Based - We believe that the Bible is the uniquely inspired Word of God and is the Truth upon which we build our lives. There is no better Rock! Our bible is a God-given instruction manual for living. We seek to teach clearly and to apply practically the truth it contains. Every believer is called upon to read and study the living Word and grow in maturity. God speaks to us through the leading of His Word! We consider God’s Word food for our hungry spirit and as important as the air we breathe. God’s word will lead you to an encounter with the Father’s Heart and enable you to hear His voice clearly as you seek Him.

Full of Worship – Song – Dance - We believe the whole Bible is a divine trumpet call to WORSHIP! The Heart of Worship invites us to bring into the earth an offering of a new sound of Praise! When Worship is released, the sound brings change and sets people FREE! When music soars during worship, hearts soften and the Word enters with healing and direction! Sometimes in silence, sometimes in proclamation but always keeping focused on the One on the Throne. You will see the young and old alike bringing a sacrifice of praise to God with dance, flags or worship sticks. The sounds released from either shouts, shofar or whistles are all an expressions from the heart of a people thankful in praise!

This walk in Christ is a great journey - an inheritance beyond your wildest imagination is waiting for those who will press in and persevere. We are a family; we are sons of God and heirs. Not only part of the true vine but joint-heirs, dearly beloved members of His royal priesthood and friends! We offer many weekly opportunities for all ages to fellowship and grow.
